Adam Schiff proclaims Donald Trump’s SpyGate investigation is ‘un-American’

The irony is palpable.

The rhetoric flying around Washington DC this week has been hysterical, and impressively so.

It’s not anyone should condone what’s being said, but if you had told us a week ago that things were going to get weirder, we wouldn’t have been likely to believe you.

In the last two days alone we’ve heard House Speaker Nancy Pelosi call for an “intervention” by President Trump’s friends and family, followed hours later by the Commander in Chief sharing a doctored video of as artificially-slurring Pelosi.

As that scandal was still settling, Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff went nuclear with his own vitriol.

“Un-American”?

More like unbelievable.

Schiff has long been a vociferous critic of President Trump, and it was only a matter of time before he reached this level of hysterical hyperbole.

What spurred Schiff’s raucous retort?

Schiff’s accusations came hours after President Trump announced that he directed the intelligence community to cooperate with Barr’s probe into surveillance activities in the 2016 presidential election. In a memorandum to several cabinet directors, the president request officials cooperate with Barr’s probe into Spygate’s originals and authorized the attorney general to declassify information concerning the counterintelligence operation.

“Today’s action will help ensure that all Americans learn the truth about the events that occurred, and the actions that were taken, during the last Presidential election and will restore confidence in our public institutions,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.

This investigation of the investigators has been decried by the democrats who don’t wish to see any further embarrassment bestowed upon the administration of Barack Obama.

For much of the United States, however, this inexcusable intrusion into the 2016 Trump campaign is simply un-American.
