Adam Schiff Snaps at Trump Over Possible Pardoning of Michael Flynn

The feud appears to be back on between these two.

Even though the Democrats are convinced that Donald Trump is on his way out of the White House, that hasn’t stopped them from taking any opportunity to trash the Commander in Chief that presents itself.

This has been especially true as Trump’s legal team continues to root around in Pennsylvania and beyond, looking for evidence of widespread voter fraud that could lead to the reversal of the 2020 election results.  The left side of the aisle has seemingly relished in their opportunities to disparage Trump and his team throughout this process, insinuating that he is some supreme “sore loser” – all while ignoring the hissy fit thrown by Hillary Clinton at the end of 2016, in which she hadn’t even written a concession speech.

Now, as Trump looks to pardon former national security adviser Michael Flynn, House Rep. Adam Schiff has found himself in a bit of hysterics.

Schiff said on CNN’s “New Day” that Trump is “acting like an organized crime figure” by rewarding people who lie for him.

“It would send a message that at least as far as President Trump is concerned, if you lie on his behalf, if you cover up for him, he will reward you,” Schiff stated. “He will protect you, but only if he thinks it’s in his interest. There are others that lied for him that he’s not going to extend that kind of service to, but it just, frankly reflects so ill on our democracy, on the United States. Imagine what people around the world think when we have a president who’s acting like an organized crime figure. But this is who Donald Trump is. It’s who he was on the way into the presidency. It will be exactly who he is on his last days of the presidency.”

Schiff and Trump sparred repeatedly throughout the President’s first term, and their banter crescendoed as the Democrats attempted to impeach Donald Trump over third-party knowledge of a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart.
