2020 Candidates Drop Out to Push Biden Over Bernie Before Super Tuesday

The Bernie Bros will surely recognize this as an attempt to silence their support.

If it wasn’t already obvious, the Democratic Party appears to be stacking the deck against Bernie Sanders and, thusly, their own constituents.

We have to remember that the Democratic establishment is old.  Like, really old.  As it stands today, the youngest male candidate still in the race is Joe Biden at 77 years old, and he tends to only appeal to Democrats within two decades of his own age.

The real superstar in the race is Bernie Sanders who, despite being months older than Biden, has captured the imagination of the gargantuan millennial voting bloc with his promise of democratic socialism.  The Democratic Party’s leadership is none too pleased about this development and has predictably started to stack the deck against him.

The latest effort to thwart Bernie comes in the form of two candidates dropping out just ahead of Super Tuesday in order to throw their weight behind former Vice President Biden.

Former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg is set to endorse former Vice President Joe Biden in the Democratic presidential race one day after ending his own bid, according to a source close to the Biden campaign.

Buttigieg’s planned endorsement comes as fellow moderate Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) also throws her support behind Biden after dropping out of the race Monday.

This will almost certainly invigorate the longstanding conspiracy theories surrounding the Democratic Party’s relationship with Bernie Sanders, whose supporters wholeheartedly believe that the fix is in when it comes to the 2020 primary.
