2020 democratic candidate gets surprise standing ovation at Fox News

Will this uncharacteristic civility continue through the election?

The topsy turvy world of American politics seems to grow stranger by the moment, and We The People continue to find ourselves in the middle of a media war that we cannot win.

The mainstream infotainment media has long been hoping to divide us, hoping to use that manufactured segregation to entice us into conflict.  This conflict, whether it be physical, emotional, or political will be covered extensively on television, generating untold amounts of revenue for advertising sales on CNN and the like.

Make no mistake about it; the media wants us to dislike one another because it makes them money.

So what happens when an extremely liberal mayor goes to a fairly conservative network and gets a standing ovation?

The moment came just hours after President Trump blasted Fox News in a tweet regarding the event.

When asked about the tweet during the Fox News event, Buttigieg replied “I don’t care”, and likened the President’s Twitter feed to “grotesque” things that we have a hard time looking away from.

The moment has rattled political observers as well, with Mayor Pete attempting to usurp the very public persona of the President in order to frame his campaign as unconcerned with Trump’s more bombastic iterations.  Should Buttigeieg ever find himself on a debate stage with President Trump, this sort of sly articulation could prove difficult to deal with.

Buttigieg is lagging behind in the 2020 polls as of late after the emergence of Joe Biden as a double-digit favorite over even his closest competitor.
