Alec Baldwin pushes wild Epstein conspiracy theory on Twitter

Sure, there’s something fishy going on here, but this is wild…even for Alec Baldwin.

Alec Baldwin is no fan of Donald Trump, this has long been clear, but the Saturday Night Live alum seems to be reaching his peak absurdity this week.

Baldwin, who has found himself the de facto Trump impersonator for the NBC variety show, has been lashing out at the President from the very moment that Trump announced his run for office.  His latest attack on Trump drudges up a long-held conspiracy theory on the left side of the aisle:

The 30 Rock actor is referring to the RussiaGate conspiracy theory that spawned the Robert Mueller-led investigation into Trump’s relationship to the Russian government.  The report from this investigation would not recommend any charges for President Trump, however.

Baldwin has been obsessed with this theory for months, having tweeted his concerns all the way back in May as well.

The “PeePee Tape” is a reference to the unverified and unverifiable Steele Dossier that purports President Trump to be under a blackmail scheme involving unsanitary Mucovite prostitutes working for The Kremlin.

Baldwin wasn’t the only celebrity who invoked Vladimir Putin in their assessment of the Epstein “suicide”, with Ron Perlman and Dave Bautista taking to Twitter as well.

The curious case of Epstein’s death is being investigated from on high, as the FBI and the Department of Justice are both involved in determining how such a high profile inmate was able to kill himself.
