Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Tells Americans that Governors are ‘Sending Them to Die’

Someday must have wanted some attention today.

For some within the Democratic Party, it seems as though the most effective way to remain in the public eye is by uttering wholly unreasonable and inflammatory gibberish that catches headlines in the opposition’s press.  In fact, some of these radical liberals seem to have this tactic down to a science.

Freshmen Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is just such a politician, and she has used her soapbox today to insist that Americans are being “sent to die” by their fiscally-focused Governors.

“Trump has NO PLAN to get people safely back to work,” the New York lawmaker said in response to a tweet from former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.

“GOP Govs like Kemp are sending vulnerable workers to die w/ false claims of safety,” she continued, accusing Trump of pushing “an unproven, dangerous treatment as a ‘cure’ & firing experts who want to vet claims.”

“Last thing you care abt is safety,”…

AOC failed to mention the stern tongue-lashing that Georgia Governor Brian Kemp received at the hands of Trump during Wednesday’s coronavirus task force briefing, in which the Commander in Chief insisted that he “totally disagrees” with the Peach State politician’s plan to reopen a number of businesses as soon as Monday.

In Atlanta, several restaurants have already stated that they will await further guidance from the CDC before choosing to reopen their dining rooms, effectively ignoring Kemp’s decision.
