Anthony Scaramucci Makes Preposterous Claim Trump Won’t Be 2020 GOP Nominee

Scaramucci’s ultra-brief tenure in the White House should be taken into consideration as he continues to rack up his television appearances as of late.

With Washington as wild as it ever has been, there are no shortage of bizarre and bloviated soundbites floating around the politi-sphere this week.

First, there was the wholly asinine claim by former First Lady Hillary Clinton that Hawaii Rep. and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard was some sort of “Russia asset” – a claim that Clinton has made before regarding President Donald Trump.

As if that weren’t ludicrous enough, now former White House adviser Anthony Scaramucci is attempting to convince anyone who’ll listen to him that the incumbent Commander in Chief won’t even be the Republican nominee for 2020.

On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci predicted President Donald Trump would not be the nominee of the Republican party for the 2020 presidential election.

Scaramucci said, “President Trump will not be the nominee come November. He’ll be either out of office or make a declaration that he’s not running for re-election. Now you’re going to have an open system in terms of who’s going to be that nominee.”

Scaramucci wasn’t done there.

He added, “Two months from now, there’ll be an impeachment inquiry. He’ll be the third person to be impeached. Then you’re also seeing cracks in the foundation of the Republican establishment which generally dislike the guy. They’ll say good things about him right now because his supposed approval ratings in the Republican party are high. But I think those are superficial numbers.”

Scaramucci is famous for having one of the shortest tenures in White House history, unable to last even two weeks in the West Wing before being unceremoniously ousted.
