AOC’s ‘concentration camp’ claims excoriated by Border Patrol

Not only were Border Patrol officials offended by the remarks, but those affected by The Holocaust should be infuriated as well.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is single-handedly ushering in a new era of democratic politicians, full of showmanship and drama.

To be fair, she certainly isn’t the first to speak exclusively in soundbites, nor is she the only one on either side of the aisle hamming it up.  But AOC has been at the very forefront of the recent movement to make Congressional lawmakers celebrities in their own right, and it has been exhausting – particularly due to Ocasio-Cortez’s prolific use of controversial imagery.

Her latest quip, regarding the detention of migrants in America, has at least one expert up in arms.

The vice president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) slammed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for comparing border facilities to concentration camps.

Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., made the comparison to her Instagram followers during a live stream Monday.

“The fact that concentration camps are now an institutionalized practice in the land of the free is extraordinarily disturbing,” she declared.

Art Del Cueto expressed his frustration with her statements during a Tuesday morning appearance on “America’s Newsroom.”

Del Cueto did not hold back.

“It’s disgusting to compare concentration camps to what the men and women are doing here protecting our country,” he said, giving a firsthand account of what he’s observed at border facilities.

Del Cueto added that he would personally escort Ocasio-Cortez around a facility to prove his point about the humane treatment given to migrants.

The left has been doing their damnedest in comparing US President Donald Trump to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler over the course of his first term, and AOC’s dastardly insinuation is yet another example of the liberal left going out of their way to offend those affected by the horrors of The Holocaust.
