Attorney Lin Wood Pushes President Trump to Declare Martial Law

Someone check on Alex Jones; His brain might be melting.

For years, nay decades now, conspiracy theorists have been suggesting that our entire American system is designed to make the poor among us poorer and the rich among us richer.

It’s a classical, archetypal evil that these sensational spinsters weave, telling us that we will soon be subjected to mandatory vaccinations, microchipping, and martial law.  In fact, the idea that a sitting US President would declare martial law on this nation was one of conspiracy kook Alex Jones’ most consistent themes – although Jones was convinced that it would be George W. Bush or Barack Obama to do it.

In fact, Jones appears to be a rather big fan of Donald Trump’s, sparring the current President from the Infowars host’s assertions.

But, in a twist to the tale that could only come to us in the year 2020, Pro-Trump attorney Lin Wood is suggesting that President Trump actually declare martial law, for the sake of the 2020 election.

Georgia attorney Lin Wood, who’s been involved in long-shot legal efforts to overturn the 2020 election results, urged President Donald Trump to declare martial law.

Wood, an attorney for Kenosha gunman Kyle Rittenhouse who signed on to the 104-page “Kraken” lawsuit filed by former Trump attorney Sidney Powell, called for draconian measures to prevent the election from being certified for Joe Biden.

“Good morning,” Wood tweeted. “Our country is headed to civil war. A war created by 3rd party bad actors for their benefit – not for We The People.”

TAKE THE POLL: Will you take a coronavirus vaccine when it’s available?
“Communist China is leading the nefarious efforts to take away our freedom,” he added. “@realDonaldTrump should declare martial law.”

And that’s not all…

He then linked to the website for the “We The People Convention,” an Ohio-based nonprofit that purportedly promotes constitutional governance, although that organization is also calling for Trump to invoke martial law and hold a new election, which is not prescribed in the U.S. Constitution.

While the idea certainly feels absurd and extreme, it would be undoubtedly entertaining to watch Alex Jones come to terms with the possibility of his preferred President invoking the sort of totalitarian maneuver that he claimed other Commanders-in-Chief were sure to invoke.
