Biden Attempts to Spin Trump Acquittal in Favor of Democrats

That’s some slick wordplay, Joey.

Donald Trump has done it again, and the Democrats are beside themselves about it.

The former President has skated once again, having not only become the only President in US history to ever be impeached twice, but also the only to have ever been acquitted twice.  His lates escape came after a charge of “inciting and insurrection” wasn’t able to stick, on account of the amount of Republicans who continued to have 45’s back.

And while this is a major embarrassment for the Democrats, President Joe Biden used some slick wordplay to play this up as a definite win for the left.

President Joe Biden issued a statement late Saturday, hours after the U.S. Senate voted to acquit former President Donald Trump on an article of impeachment for “inciting an insurrection” in connection with the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

“While the final vote did not lead to a conviction, the substance of the charge is not in dispute,” Biden wrote.

Yet Trump was acquitted, still.

Biden went on to drag Mitch McConnell into the mess as well.

“Even those opposed to the conviction, like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, believe Donald Trump was guilty of a ‘disgraceful dereliction of duty’ and “practically and morally responsible for provoking’ the violence unleashed on the Capitol.”

Then, predictably, Biden would go on to usher yet another call for “healing” here in the United States – something that has been his default message from the moment that the Democrats somehow convinced him to run for President.
