Biden Considers Declaring Public Health Emergency Over Gun Violence

Funny how they wouldn’t consider this in Chicago…

The Second Amendment will never be abolished here in the United States.  The mere thought of such a thing would send armed Americans into the streets with rage, and would undoubtedly spook even the most docile government obeyer into wondering just how far the feds would be willing to take things.

No, there’s just no way that an actual end to the Second Amendment would ever take hold, and this has forced the Democrats to pull some awfully dirty tricks in order to make it difficult, expensive, or annoying to exercise your right to bear arms.

President Joe Biden is seeking to ride the emotional coattails of a recent tragedy in Boulder, Colorado to add even more red tape to the Constitution, and he’s said to be considering an awfully dirty trick in order to move his agenda forward.

President Joe Biden’s administration is weighing the idea of declaring gun violence as a public health emergency, in order to take dramatic executive action to tackle gun rights.

Biden officials and gun control activists discussed the idea, according to the New York Times, as well as other executive actions that could tackle gun rights nationwide.

If Biden declared a public health emergency, he could shift more funding to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to increase their inspections of gun dealerships. It would also loosen up available funds for community gun violence programs.

Of course, it should be noted that Biden, nor any of his predecessors on either side of the aisle, has considered such a move for cities like Chicago that have been besieged by gun violence for decades after liberal policies behooved criminals back in the early 80’s.
