Biden Formally Denies Sex Assault Allegation Despite Numerous Credible Corroborations

It’s Biden’s word against theirs, and the timely corroboration of Reade’s allegations makes siding with the former veep an act of willful ignorance.

You know what they say about trying to put the cat back into the bag once it’s out:  Ain’t gonna happen.

Presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is being reminded of this all-too-true anecdote today after attempting to categorically deny the sexual assault allegations made against him by former staffer Tara Reade.

The desperation of his situation could be fully understood by examining the language he used during an appearance on MSNBC on Friday.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Are you absolutely certain, are you absolutely positive, there is no record of any complaint by Tara Reade against you?

JOE BIDEN: I am absolutely positive that no one that I’m aware of ever was beenmade aware of any complaint a formal complaint made by or a complaint by Tara Reade against me at the time this allegedly happened 27 years ago or until they I announced for pres—well, I guess it was in April or May of this year.

The verbiage that Biden employed here distinctly indicates that his campaign has chosen to pretend as though Tara Reade is lying in order to damage Biden’s 2020 run.  The only problem with this is that there have been several corroborating witnesses, including Reade’s own mother, who called into Larry King Live in the weeks following the incident to ask for advice.

Furthermore, one of Reade’s former neighbors – a lifelong Democrat who says that she is still voting for Biden – has repeatedly stated that she recalls speaking to the purported victim regarding the assault at the time that it happened.

It’s Biden’s word against all three of them, and it doesn’t appear that the former veep has any way to bolster his position.
