Biden Team Suggests ‘Escorting’ White House ‘Trespassers’ Off The Property

Now is not the time for these sort of snarky threats.

There is no denying that this particular moment in American history calls for cooler heads to prevail.

We are in limbo at the moment, as President Donald Trump remains steadfast in his belief that he we “cheated” out of the 2020 election.  His assertions are backed by a number of legal challenges that his team are making around the country, but not necessarily backed by several members of his own party.

Should these legal fights prove fruitless, our nation could be in an incredibly tense situation in which a peaceful and willing transfer of power might not occur.  This unprecedented event could set off a chain reaction of angst and turmoil on the streets, further dividing and devolving our country.

That is why one of the latest quips out of the Biden campaign team is being panned as tone-deaf, and possibly inflammatory.

Trump’s campaign team released a statement insisting ‘this election is not over,’ as one official forecaster predicted a Joe Biden win.

Afterwards a spokesperson for Biden said: ‘The United States government is capable of escorting trespassers from the White House.’

One has to imagine that Biden’s Friday night public address will come from a much less assertive place, but to know that his campaign team is ready to push this sort of snark on a bruised and perturbed nation is worrisome, to say the least.
