Biden’s Boneheaded Handling of Talking Points May Have Revealed Running Mate a Week Early

The bumbling, fumbling Biden may have just leaked his own running mate.

For those who have been paying close attention to the 2020 election, one theme has resonated over and over again:  Joe Biden is bumbling and fumbling his way through this thing.

The former Vice President was railroaded into the nomination under the notion that his alleged centrism would help him win votes in the midwest, possibly putting a few more precincts in play than a radical leftist like Bernie Sanders would have.  The only problem is that Biden appears to be a reluctant nominee, and has barely done any campaigning, literal or virtual, since the start of the coronavirus crisis.

When he has appeared before some version of an audience, Biden has been either testy or scatterbrained, alternating between insulting his constituents and spewing unadulterated gibberish.

Now, a week ahead of his scheduled running mate announcement, the former veep has seemingly spilled the beans with the nonchalant handling of his talking points.

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has kept quiet on who he is going to pick to be his running mate, but a mistaken report by Politico and a photo of his notes captured by an Associated Press photographer on Tuesday has many suspecting his top candidate for the job is Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.

“Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris to become his running mate for the 2020 election on Aug. 1, two weeks before the Democratic National Convention, after keeping his choice close to the chest for months,” Politico wrote.

The note itself was fairly cut and dry.

The AP photographer grabbed a shot of Biden’s handwritten notes showing a section titled “Kamala Harris,” which was followed by a list of attributes.

“Do not hold grudges.” “Campaigned with me & Jill.” “Talented.” “Great help to campaign.” “Great respect for her.”

Harris, a former hard-nosed prosecutor who was infamous for her work to put nonviolent drug offenders behind bars, would be a detrimental choice for Biden, especially at this juncture in American history.  The Democratic Party is turning hard to the left in 2020, lashing out against a criminal justice system that they believe is skewed down racial lines.  Harris’ previous career statistics make her a poster child for exactly this sort of thing, and the far left demographics within the party are almost sure to abandon ship if Harris becomes the VP pick.
