While the Democrats in the House of Representatives continues to claim any number of small skirmishes in the metaphorical impeachment war on Capitol Hill, the larger battles certainly seem to be going President Trump’s way.
Sure, the left have whistleblowers lining up around the block, and a few outspoken GOP members have attempted to make a splash by decrying the President, but we have to look at the big picture here: The left is accusing Donald Trump of attempting to sabotage Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign, and Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign is tanking.
First, he lost his clear lead in the polls over the rest of the record-setting field of Democratic presidential contenders.
Democratic strategists say the “devastating number” is a clear warning sign for Biden as he battles to be his party’s 2020 standard-bearer.
The writing seems to be on the wall, even for the former VP himself.
“We haven’t raised what a lot of people have — we got started way later than everybody else, but we’ve raised, this last quarter, $15 million, in the middle of summer,” Biden said Thursday at a fundraising event in Palo Alto, Calif.
The $15.2 million the former vice president brought in during the July-September third quarter of fundraising was down more than $6 million from the $21.5 million he raised in the April-June quarter.
To make matters even more embarrassing for the Democrats, they are accomplishing just what they accuse Donald Trump of trying to accomplish: Ruin Joe Biden’s chances in 2020. This “formal impeachment inquiry” is forcing the Joe Biden corruption narrative out into the mainstream, even if it is being refuted heavily by certain pockets of the infotainment industry.
Naturally curious as voters are, there is little doubt that some have looked into the accusations against Biden and son and found something make them wonder.
