Bill Maher blasts Liz Warren for Fox News stunt as democratic party implodes

The democratic civil war is heating up just in time to sabotage their own 2020 chances.

The 2020 democratic presidential candidates seem to have a singular focus at times:  Beating Donald Trump in the next electoral go-round.

To do so, however, these left-leaning politicians will be tasked with reaching out to a wide swath of Americans, particularly in the midwest, where Trump himself gained massive ground on Hillary Clinton back on 2016.

In order to do this, democrats like Liz Warren will need to keep an open mind, and be willing to compromise with those who disagree with her.  (After all, this sort of compromise and understanding is intrinsic to our political process).

But Warren has taken a different approach, blasting the bias of the media and shunning Fox News, who offered the democratic candidate a chance to participate in a town hall event for their viewers.

Now, even far left television host Bill Maher is giving her grief for the decision.

After reading from Warren’s statement that Fox News is “a hate-for-profit racket that gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists” Maher said, “She said it on Twitter. So is Twitter.”

He continued, “She’s right, of course that’s what Fox News [is], but it’s also where people who vote are. … Of course she should go on Fox News.”

While Maher was still able to get in a dig at Fox News, his point still stands:  Warren is shying away from Americans in order to make a point about media bias.

Of course, the bias on the other side of the infotainment seems to be no issue for Liz Warren, prompting many to denounce her hypocrisy.
