Gambler Removed from Casino Floor in Handcuffs After Refusal to Wear Mask

The images were startling.

There are still no clear answers as to how this coronavirus crisis is going to end.  There seems to be no surefire treatment available for those who fall ill, particularly when it comes to the point that they need mechanical assistance to breathe.  There is no secret cure, and there isn’t yet a vaccine, (although who knows how many people would be convinced to take it if there was).  This entire mess seems destined to continue until…well…who know when?

The only real tools that we seem to have against COVID-19 are social distancing and face masks, the latter of which have been a sticking point for a great many Americans.  This is just a part of American society at this point; telling the government to shove it whenever they suggest that we alter our daily routines, and this has been true since the Boston Tea Party.

And, as the opposition to wearing masks continues to turn more vitriolic, the consequences of that choice are growing more dire as well.

A LAS Vegas gambler was removed from the famous 4 Queens casino in handcuffs after he went in without wearing a mask.

The man was bundled out of the building and handed over to cops for flouting public safety rules on Saturday night.

The images were startling, to say the least:

The photographer reported that the man was yelling for help when he was taken outside by five security guards.

The bouncers were wearing face masks, however bystanders had their coverings pulled down around their chin.

It is currently mandatory for all residents and tourists to wear face coverings in public and inside private businesses across Nevada.

Nevada has now passed the 50,000 mark in positive COVID-19 cases.
