China Set to Receive Major Int’l Sanctions Over Ethnic Cleansing Claims

Beijing is not going to like this.

While China continues their steady economic climb toward the upper echelon of international society, it has become plainly obvious that they they have done so with little regard for human life or their citizen’s well-being.

From the dirt-poor wages to the utter lack of safety or pollution regulations, China has been the world’s most ruthless nation in many way.  And, thanks to intrepid journalism and a treasure trove of whistle blowers, the world has learned of the nation’s most horrid atrocity:  A very literal genocide being perpetrated by the government.

The world has taken notice, and China will soon be paying for their sins.

The United States, Canada, Britain, and the European Union are set to announce an array of sanctions on China on Monday over what U.S. officials have called a genocidal campaign against Uyghur Muslims, according to two people familiar with the issue.

The sanctions are expected to vary in type, and will include Global Magnitsky economic sanctions on individuals alleged to be involved with the mistreatment of the Muslims in the Xinjiang region of China.

The EU this morning approved sanctions against four Chinese officials involved in the internment of hundreds of thousands of Uyghurs.

China has sought to characterize this internment as something akin to a reeducation camp, but insiders have suggested that the situation is far more grave and atrocious than that.
