Congresswoman Says ‘Panic’ Buttons Mysteriously Removed Ahead of January 6th Storming

Are these elements of an inside job?

As the FBI and their law enforcement partners continue to work the multitude of angles in the January 6th storming of the Capitol, there are some downright terrifying bits of information coming to light.

First and foremost, authorities are changing their tone regarding the nature of the event itself.  Where once they believed that this was an organic uprising, they now believe that a great deal of planning and work went into siege.  (Oddly enough, this could work in Trump’s favor should his “incitement to insurrection” article of impeachment head to a Senate trial, and if his proponents employ a defense stating that you can’t incite the inevitable).

And not only was there a fair bit of premeditation that went into the attack, but new reports seems to indicate that there were possibly some inside actors involved.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley’s chief of staff, Sarah Groh, said in the midst of last week’s Capitol riots, she came to find that the panic buttons had been torn out of the Massachusetts Democrat’s office.

As pro-Trump protesters barreled their way through security and into the Capitol, Pressley’s staffers barricaded the entrance to the office with furniture and water jugs, she said. Groh added she pulled out gas masks and looked for the panic buttons she knew were located in the office.

“Every panic button in my office had been torn out — the whole unit,” she told The Boston Globe. Groh said she couldn’t figure out why, as she’d used them before in that office.

Fox News has reached out to Groh to see if the office is investigating the matter.

Groh said that, due to their bosses’ frequently-targeted “Squad” status, it had become routine for staffers to run safety drills in the office.

Several Capitol Police officers have been suspended and are under investigation for their actions during the attack, and the net appears to be widening by the day.
