Cory Booker Tells Staffers His Campaign Is ENDING If He Can’t Raise Nearly $2 Million ASAP

Cory Booker was never going to be given the Democrat nomination for president.

But he had two take a shot. Heck, it looks like Elizabeth Warren is now the frontrunner – if you can believe that.

In a crowd full of nobody’s, someone will eventually stand out.

Biden is tanking. Bernie’s best shot was in 2016. Kamala and Beto are complete jokers.

Booker was always an afterthought.

It now looks like the New Jersey senator is about to be done.

Sen. Cory Booker’s (D-NJ) 2020 presidential campaign manager warned staffers in a memo that he may not be in the race much longer if the campaign does not raise $1.7 million in ten days.

Campaign manager Addisu Demissie issued the warning after pulling in a weaker-than-expected fundraising haul in early September, stating that to stay in the race, the campaign needs the $1.7 million before September 30, the end of the financial quarter.

This isn’t an end-of-quarter stunt. This is a real, unvarnished look under the hood of our campaign at a level of transparency unprecedented in presidential politics.

We’re at a crossroads in this campaign. We need to raise $1.7 million by September 30 to be in a position to build the organization we need to compete for the nomination—and we can do it—but if we don’t, we don’t see a legitimate long-term path forward.

If you’re all in for me, I can’t thank you enough. But if you haven’t settled on a candidate & still think my voice belongs in this race, if you believe the Democratic field should include someone like me, I want you to understand the field may narrow & pay attention to this too.

Back in 2000, when asked if he would “ban guns,” Booker said: “I am very much one that is against handguns. And I know, in my urban environment, I see little to no need for guns at all, and I think that the availability of guns and the ease with which even young people can get their hands on them is just horrendous, and I would, if I had the power to do so, I would. In fact, we’re even looking towards making, doing some local level handgun legislation. I’m going to take every step I can to get guns of the hands of those who commit crimes or those who might commit crimes.
