Days Before Trump Heads to Baltimore, A Van Is Found With Thousands of Gallons of Gasoline

This may or may not have anything to do with President Trump’s impending arrival to the city.

But it might.

So, it’s something to think about.

Here’s what happened recently in rat-infested Baltimore…

Sources say the suspicious material inside a vehicle in a parking garage in downtown Baltimore are containers of gasoline

“‘No bomb’ found in van with 1,000 gallons of gas in downtown Baltimore parking garage”

When a police robot searched the van in Baltimore, “it found a device for stealing diesel fuel and two bins full of possibly-stolen gasoline.”

Baltimore Sun has more…

Baltimore officials investigating the van were assisted by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Baltimore Police Col. Sheree Briscoe told City Council members that officers had evacuated a four-block area around 100 East Pratt St. and were advising motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area while authorities investigate.

T. Rowe Price employee Manan Katohora was coming out of a meeting in the company’s building when the building’s fire alarm went off. The building had a fire drill just two weeks ago, so Katohora said he was not surprised when he was told to evacuate.

Around noon, Katohora and several colleagues received an automated message from the company explaining the discovery of the suspicious vehicle.

Again, we want to ensure everyone remains safe as we work through this matter.

The evacuated areas are:
East Baltimore Street to the north
Conway Street to the south
South Charles Street to the west
Commerce Street to the east
