Dem Rep Pushes for Rudy Giuliani to be Disbarred

The New Jersey Congressman is unamused by Rudy’s latest actions.

As President Trump’s legal team continues their work, meant to provide the incumbent Republican a second term in the White House, there are some in politics who’ve grown tired of some of their actions.

Rudy Giuliani, in particular, has been a thorn in the side of some, as he pushes some of the stranger theories and legal angles out there.  In fact, some of Giuliani’s statements and behaviors have even begun to irritate Republicans who are afraid that the bombastic former mayor of NYC is just a little too much of a showman at times.

Now, a New Jersey Democrat is pushing to have Giuliani removed from the legal community altogether.

A Democratic Representative in New Jersey announced he has filed a complaint against Rudy Giuliani with New York’s attorney disciplinary officials seeking his disbarment.

Bill Pascrell accused Mr Giuliani of “filing frivolous lawsuits and trying to help Trump steal the election and dismantle democracy” in a tweet on Monday to which he attached a copy of my complaint to the New York State judicial conduct body.

The representative explained that he had filed legal complaints with the Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, New York, and Pennsylvania bars against Rudy Giuliani and 22 other lawyers.

“Mr Giuliani has participated in frivolous lawsuits and used our nation’s courts to assault public confidence in the United States electoral system, violating the New York Rules of professional conduct,” Rep Pascrell wrote in the complaint.
Giuliani hadn’t appeared in court personally in years until just over a week ago, when the longtime attorney was forced to argue a portion of his 2020 election case in front of a judge.
That appearance culminated in Giuliani, as well as the rest of the courtroom, being given directions to the nearest martini bar by the judge.
