Democrats Now Pinning Impeachment on Eavesdropped Convo in Kiev Restaurant

UkraineGate is withering away before the Democrats’ eyes.

Remember when the UkraineGate whistleblower was going to take down the President?  Well, they are no longer necessary, according to the Democrats.

You see, the left is moving the goal posts yet again, attempting to convince the nation that the corroboration of that whistleblower’s hearsay, (with more hearsay, mind you), is somehow necessitating the impeachment of Donald Trump.

Right.  If anyone believes that, I have a bridge for sale.

Now, as the whistleblower is apparently blasé, we have a new bit of Democratic drivel to hang our hat on:  An overheard phone call from a busy restaurant in Kiev, courtesy of the eavesdropping of someone the nation had never heard of.

David Holmes, the political counsel at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, testified behind closed doors that he was at a restaurant in Kiev on July 26 when Sondland spoke to Trump over the phone, a day after Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In his opening statement, posted online by CNN and confirmed by Fox News, Holmes said that Trump was talking so loudly that Sondland had to hold the phone away from his ear, which allowed others to hear.

Holmes said Sondland told Trump that Zelensky “loves your ass” to which Trump responded: “So, he’s gonna do the investigation?

“He’s gonna do it,” Sondland replied.

The left should be seeing the pattern by now, but they’re not.

They began this push to oust the President with Robert Mueller and RussiaGate – a weak case that, by comparison, makes this latest UkraineGate dustup appear as damaging to the nation as a smudge on a window in the Oval Office.

The Democrats are running out of ways to damage The Donald, and with the 2020 election approaching, they are soon to be running on empty.
