‘Domestic Terror’ Latest Scapegoat in Dem Plan to Ban AR-15’s

It’s the first of many, undoubtedly.

There are some truly diabolical ways in which the liberal left wishes to neuter the Second Amendment, and exploiting fear is among to most prominent examples of the levels they’ll stoop to.

Every time some new threat arrives in America, lawmakers find a way to slip through our fear and pass some piece of legislation that could impact our privacy or sovereignty.  They tell us that the freedom I possess is an advantage to some hypothetical, deranged killer, and I must be stripped of my rights to make his actions fodder for litigation.

It’s a gross and simplistic way of attempting mass mind control, and the Democrats have yet to grow tired of it.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is citing “domestic terrorism” concerns in her latest push to ban AR-15s and other commonly owned semiautomatic rifles.

Breitbart News noted Feinstein’s new ban, the “Assault Weapons Ban of 2021,” was put forward Thursday with at least 34 Senate Democrat co-sponsors.

The bill is designed to ban 205 different firearms, including different variants of the wildly popular AR-15 rifle.

The New York Post reports Feinstein is citing “domestic terrorism” as an impetus for the ban. She said, “We’re now seeing a rise in domestic terrorism, and military-style assault weapons are increasingly becoming the guns of choice for these dangerous groups.”

Feinstein’s legislation would also ban ammunition magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

These sorts of weapons bans have been the talk of Washington DC for decades, and to some moderate success.

With the Democrats now with a thin majority in both chambers of Congress, and with the White House on their side, there is little doubt that such anti-2A legislation will be prevalent during the Biden administration.
