It has long been suggested that CNN, and certainly a few of their more notable hosts, have a serious liberal bias and no qualms about letting it show.
This is all purposeful, mind you. The mainstream media is truly nothing more than “infotainment”, in which their sole purpose is to make sure you watch the commercials that play in between their segments. The easiest way to do this is to play with your emotions, which is why bias is so prevalent: It appeals emotionally to both sides of the aisle.
In the case of Don Lemon, the liberal left will watch his program and root along with him, getting antsy and angsty when Lemon prods them in that direction. Those on the right will watch Don Lemon’s diatribes with disgust and despair, another set of dopamine-dumping emotions, and our brains will then become addicted to watching the news.
But, as the continue on through this path of informational revolution, Americans are waking up. They are seeing how the game is played, and they certainly aren’t happy about it.
CNN’s Don Lemon was called out as “incredibly dishonest and openly partisan” on Monday night for claiming President Biden simply misspoke about the new Georgia voting law, when even the liberal Washington Post has accused him of lying.
The Post knocked Biden last week for falsely claiming Georgia’s new law “ends voting hours early,” giving him its harshest rating of Four Pinocchios for spreading the misinformation. But over on CNN, Lemon had Biden’s back and blamed Republicans for making a fuss over misinformation spread by the president.
“Get this, Republicans have a new talking point, trying to turn Trump’s big lie onto Joe Biden, saying Joe Biden is lying about what’s in Georgia’s new voting law that restricts ballot access,” Lemon said as the CNN on-screen graphic said “New GOP talking point: Trying to turn Trump’s ‘Big Lie’ on to Biden for misspeaking about Georgia’s voting law.”
Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler wrote Biden’s claim couldn’t be substantiated and slapped him with the sharpest ruling of Four Pinocchios for his repeated falsehood.
The backlash was swift.
WTF is this? Biden was just "misspeaking" and not lying?
This Don Lemon chyron is so incredibly dishonest and openly partisan, showing no regard for the facts about Georgia's voting law.
As for his facial expressions, he's off to quite the start tonight! pic.twitter.com/XZG1oBgkrG

Of course, all of this controversy may just be a part of Don Lemon’s personal marketing strategy as well, as it provides his disparagers with a need to tune in once again, if for no other reason than to catch Lemon lying again.
