Donald Trump Promises Swift Return in Exit from First Term

The Donald may not be in the White House, but he’s not going anywhere either.

He’s off to Mar-a-Lago.  The purposeful bull in a China shop who was sent to Washington to shake the status quo to its core is now out to pasture in sunny Florida, awaiting whatever he decides is next.

There have been plenty of suggestions as to what Trump could be up to in the coming days, months, and years.  Many have suggested that he may find himself creating a new media empire to rival Fox News, who Trump has been quite critical of late.  Some have wondered if Trump would simply work to announce his 2024 run for the presidency as soon as possible, looking to freeze out other potential Republican rivals.  There’s even a rumor that he’s considering starting a brand new political party of his own.

No matter what Trump decides, it appears as though it’ll be coming soon.

President Donald Trump bid farewell to staff and supporters Wednesday, leaving Washington, DC, for the last time as president aboard Air Force One.

“Goodbye. I love you. We’ll be back in some form,” Trump said as he concluded his remarks, noting “I will be watching. I will be listening” as a new administration took office.

Trump appeared to have well wishes for the incoming administration, but delivered a scathing dig as well.

“I hope they don’t raise your taxes, but if they do, I told you so,” he said.

The Donald may not be in the White House, but he’s not going anywhere either.
