Enormous Scope of US Weapons Left for the Taliban REVEALED

The numbers are STUNNING.

One of the most sever and unforgivable actions taken thus far by the Biden administration is almost certainly the swift and utter abandonment of Afghanistan despite specific and repeated warnings against it from US military experts.

The fear was, (and rightly so), that the lack of US troops in the imperiled nation would lead to a resurgence of the wicked and brutal Taliban regime.

Spoiler alert:  This is precisely what happened, with the Jihadist regime undoing 20 years of American nation-building in just 11 days.

Worse still, US President Joe Biden commanded such a hasty retreat that the Taliban were able to take control of some serious American military hardware, the unfathomable scope of which we are just now beginning to recognize.

The Taliban is in possession of nearly $7.2 billion in U.S. taxpayer-funded weapons, ammunition, and aircraft as a result of the Biden administration’s bungled 2021 military withdrawal from Afghanistan, according to a government watchdog.

The breakdown of what the Taliban now controls is simply astounding.

“Nearly $7.2 billion worth of aircraft, guns, vehicles, ammunition, and specialized equipment” was abandoned in Afghanistan when the Biden administration carried out its rushed evacuation, according to a report published in late February by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), the federal watchdog group that monitors U.S. expenditures in the country.

“At least 78 aircraft worth $923.3 million, 9,524 air-to-ground munitions valued at $6.54 million, over 40,000 vehicles, more than 300,000 weapons, and nearly all night vision, surveillance, communications, and biometric equipment provided to the [Afghan defense forces] were left behind,” according to information disclosed in SIGAR’s report.

The hasty withdrawal and the subsequent plight of the Afghani people will forever be a festering pockmark on the already scandal-ridden Biden White House.
