The case against Michael Flynn has long been seen as a sort of canary in the coal mine for the “Deep State”, thanks to the dastardly details of the case, which are still being unearthed to this day.
Flynn was originally charged with lying to the FBI during their investigation into the “RussiaGate” conspiracy theory, and spent several years and millions of dollars fighting the charges. Several weeks ago, handwritten notes from the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn are declassified, showing that the investigators were openly considering tricking the highly decorated military man into lying to them, in order to hold those charges over his head.
It was this revelation that prompted the DOJ to drop the charges against Flynn, although it would take an appeals court judge to make it official after a bit of stalling by the case’s premier adjudicator.
The latest disclosures from the investigation are even more damning…but for 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden this time around.

Michael Flynn’s lawyers said newly uncovered notes from former FBI official Peter Strzok indicate then-FBI Director James Comey appeared to downplay Flynn’s calls during the presidential transition with Russia’s ambassador as “legit” during a meeting where then-President Barack Obama and then-Vice President Joe Biden also weighed in.
The handwritten notes, purportedly penned by Strzok, were submitted by Flynn’s legal team on Wednesday as part of his court case, after acting U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia shared them with his attorneys.
Sherwin told Flynn attorneys Sidney Powell and Jesse Binnall on Tuesday that the notes were found as part of the Justice Department’s review of the Flynn case and that they were “taken by former Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok.”
This news squares up nicely with the long-held theory among internet researchers that the Obama administration may have been intimately involved in the “RussiaGate” ruse, which they believe was meant to smear incoming President Donald Trump as some sort of Kremlin stooge.
