Former ‘Batman’ Tells President Trump to Resign, Says it Would be ‘Patriotic’
The epic meltdown isn’t all that unexpected from Hollywood these days.
Hollywood has long had it out for Donald Trump, from even before his time as President of these United States. His political success has only furthered the animosity that Tinsel Town holds for the former real estate mogul and reality television star.
Given the ego-incarnate of Hollywood, this sort of angst has led to some pretty disturbing and distressing statements regarding Donald Trump, from the likes of Bette Midler, Rob Reiner, and others.
The latest icon to jump into the pool of political innuendo is Michael Keaton, who this week implored Trump to simply resign and “walk away”.
Actor Michael Keaton took to social media on Wednesday to implore President Donald Trump to “resign,” adding, “No harm. No foul. Walk Away. Would be Very Patriotic.”
“Resign. No harm. No foul. Walk away. Would be very patriotic and I would personally write a note thanking him,” begged the Desperate Measures actor in an Instagram post. “I swear I’m not being condescending. It’s just the truth.”
Keaton added that the Trump presidency was a “Fluke” and “a terrible mistake.”
“It’s crystal clear it was a fluke and unfortunately a terrible mistake,” wrote the White Noise actor. “There are moments when I honestly feel sorry for him.”
“OK, maybe not MOMENTS but seconds. It’s reached the point where it just pathetic,” he added.
Keaton would then go on to characterize Trump as in “over his head”, emphasizing that sentiment in all caps, stating “HE DOESN’T HAVE THE STUFF”.
Hollywood’s hatred of Trump has become so predictable, however, that Keaton’s comment won’t likely move the needle one way or the other.
