Former Obama aide turns on Biden over his verbal buffoonery

The democratic partying is cannibalizing itself once again, and Biden is sitting directly in the stewpot.

Joe Biden might be one of the most entertaining candidates running for the presidency in 2020, but not for any reason the the democrats would like to admit it.

The former Vice President has long been known as a man who is all-too-familiar with a slip of the tongue.  Throughout his career, Biden has stumbled over words, embarrassingly misidentified people and places, and attempted to land totally inappropriate jokes, much to the dismay of the democratic party that he represents.

2020’s campaign has been no different, and liberal voters are beginning to take notice.  For some, the solution seemed to be hiding Biden away, only dragging him on stage when absolutely necessary – a tactic that one former Obama aide sees as inappropriate.

David Axelrod, a former top adviser to President Barack Obama, seemed incensed on Thursday after seeing a report that some of former Vice President Joe Biden’s allies proposed that the 2020 frontrunner scale back appearances amid a series of public gaffes.

“This is bad advice. You can’t cloister the candidate and win,” tweeted Axelrod, who served alongside Biden during the Obama years.

“He either can cut it or he can’t, and the only way he can prove he can is to be an active and vigorous candidate. He’s running for president of the United States, for God’s sake!”

Biden’s verbal miscues aren’t the only slip-ups that he’ll have to overcome, after several women accused the longtime Senator of inappropriate groping or intimate touching – something that has long been the subject of “Creepy Joe Biden” YouTube compilation videos.
