There are few men on this planet more maligned by the online conspiracy community than George Soros.
Soros, a Hungarian billionaire with a penchant for liberal ideologies the world over, has become the new face of “the powers that be” for conspiracy theorists, particularly as Soros remains far more lit by the public spotlight than those in the Rockefeller or Rothschild families.
And Soros knows it, certainly, having addressed the rumors directly in a new documentary.
“The fact that I have become involved in so many different issues, and have taken controversial positions, is now actually working against me,” Soros says in the film.
After airing a series of Fox News clips demonizing Soros, the film then sees one of his sons, Robert Soros, chime in.
“He’s become demonized by one community because he’s synonymous with liberal causes,” offers Robert.
The filmmaker would go on to say that Soros was the “calm at the center of the storm” – a bit of phrasing that is sure to perk up the ears of the conspiracy community itself, proving that Soros is destined for infamy no matter how often he addresses his own controversy.
