We expect a healthy dose of aloofness from 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. This man is the king of the gaffe, after all. But we really didn’t expect to see any such absent-mindedness from his running mate, Senator Kamala Harris.
Harris, before becoming a public servant, was a hard-nosed prosector operating at an extremely high level, making her one of the least desirable debate opponents anyone could have.
And it’s a good thing she’s smart as a whip too: It helps offsets her Joe Biden’s long-held reputation for goofy and zany comments – like the time he calling a young woman at a campaign event that she was a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier”.
But Harris isn’t perfect, and her mental slip-up over the weekend was a truly embarrassing one.
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) appeared to forget what city she was campaigning in Saturday, asking someone nearby if she was in Cleveland before addressing a group of supporters.take our poll - story continues below
“Are we in Cleveland?” Harris asked an individual nearby before addressing the group.
“Hey Cleveland! It’s Kamala!” she continued, waving to supporters[…]
You have to see it to believe it.

Earlier in the day, and several states away, Joe Biden’s drive-in campaign event was swarmed by Trump supporters who parked nearby, honking their horns and making other distracting noises. Biden called them out in his speech, referring to the MAGA crowd as “chumps”.
