As Americans from coast to coast continue to be bombarded with news about the 2020 election and its confusing, clamorous aftermath, there are no shortage of opinions as to what is truly going on.
Much of the hullabaloo has occurred within the mainstream media, as pundits on cable television blather on in the general direction of one another, reciting talking points like it’s their job, (because it is).
The lines are drawn in about the same spots as they usually are during these fights; CNN taking the left, Fox on the right, and everyone from the popular lexicon falling about where you think they might.
This includes former First Lady Hillary Clinton, who had a predictably flippant response to the mess via Twitter.
“The election was not close. There was no evidence of fraud. The states have certified the results. Yet Trump continues to try to overturn the election at the expense of our democracy,” the failed Trump challenger said.
“The emperor has no clothes. Republican electeds who continue to humor him have no spines,”[…]
President Trump’s legal team has been fighting an uphill battle in the court system, seeing a great many of their lawsuits dismissed outright. The most promising potential legal maneuver left comes from the State of Texas, and could find its way to the Supreme Court in the coming days.
