Hollywood director suggests left-leaning American ARM THEMSELVES to confront ‘MAGA people’

This inexcusable call to violence comes from one of Hollywood’s most acclaimed directors.

We are, today, at a crossroads in American history.

Perhaps only once before has this nation been so hotly divided, and that conflict was only satiated after hundreds of thousands Americans died on the battlefields of the 1860’s.

America is not the same place that it was then, as it struggled with the complexity of slavery and states’ rights.  That was a unique and horrific situation here in our “free” society, and we are thankful that we needn’t experience such grief in our modern lives.

Still, the two polar ends of the American political spectrum are at war, at least figuratively in 2019.

Some would like to be at war, literallyhowever.

Borat director Larry Charles took to Twitter Monday and compared Trump supporters — or as he described them, “Maga people” — to the violent, pro-China “triad” mob who attackedpeaceful pro-democracy protesters Sunday night and essentially encouraged far-left agitators to arm themselves for “war.”

“After reading about armed #Triad thugs attacking pro-democracy protestors In #HongKong and the white supremacists/Proud Boys/Maga people embracing violence here I’m glad to see the left arming itself. This is war,” the longtime Curb Your Enthusiasm producer declared.

The alarming tweet comes just weeks after Army veteran Joe Biggs was banned from Twitter for suggesting that conservatives arm themselves for protection against left-leaning domestic terror organization Antifa.

Last month, conservative author Andy Ngo was viciously beaten while reporting on an Antifa riot in Portland, Oregon, further illustrating the frustration that many Americans are feeling in our current political potluck.
