Hollywood-Style ‘TRUMP’ Sign in LA Removed by Local Authorities

You have to see this to believe it.

California is an iconic state, even among the 49 other candidates we have here in this glorious nation of ours.  The Golden State has been driving American culture in a myriad of ways over the course of the last century and a half, from striking it rich in the gold mines, through the societal uprisings of the 1960’s, and, most of all, through film.

Hollywood is an awfully liberal place, however.  You needn’t look any further than Twitter to recognize that a glut of the outspoke actors and actresses in Tinsel Town lean hard to the left.  Their politicians do as well, and this has made California, particularly southern California, a tough place to be a supporter of President Donald Trump.

This week, a large “Hollywood” style sign reading “TRUMP” was briefly erected over the 405 freeway.

Commuters on the 405 Freeway were greeted with a surprise Tuesday morning – large letters spelling out “TRUMP” in the style of the Hollywood Sign.

The letters went up sometime overnight between Monday night and Tuesday morning on a hillside along the northbound 405 Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass. Workers were on the scene to take down the unauthorized installation by 9 a.m., but not before a few commuters saw it as they zoomed by on the freeway.

Twitter users shared images of the homage before it was taken down:

As of this writing it is unclear who was responsible for constructing the massive sign.
