House Ethics Committee Will Look Into Payments Rashida Tlaib Sent to Herself (Details)

Embattled rookie lawmaker Rashida Tlaib (MI) found herself in a pickle on Monday.

The House Ethics Committee will now look into payments she apparently made to herself after the 2018 midterm elections.

Here’s the deal…

From Washington Examiner:

The House Ethics Committee announced Monday that it is reviewing a complaint against Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who has gained notoriety as a member of the group of far-left freshman congresswomen known as “The Squad.”

The committee did not disclose the nature of the complaint against Ms. Tlaib, Michigan Democrat. But she has faced questions recently about collecting paychecks from her campaign after Election Day in violation of campaign finance rules.

Campaign records showed that Ms. Tlaib paid herself $17,500 in salary after the midterm elections, in what appeared to be a violation of the rules, according to a report in March by The Washington Free Beacon.

Then-GOP nominee Donald Trump was giving a speech. Rashida was in attendance at the event in 2016, two years before she won her seat in Congress.

She. Went. Bananas.

SEE IT:

That’s a woman with a temperament to be in Congress, huh?

Another angle:

Tlaib keeps getting so much attention because she keeps saying silly things.

If she’s not wearing the Palestinian flag or meeting with anti-Israel activists she’s introducing articles of impeachment against Trump.

If she’s not caught on video saying “impeach that motherf*****” Trump, she’s claiming all members of her party are racist.

It’s kind of never-ending with this one.
