INFRINGED! US State Outlaws ‘Assault’ Weapons and Semi-Auto Rifles

It won’t take long for the NRA to get the lawsuits going now…

As the Democratic Party continues to ignore the very real mental health crisis in this country, their exploitation of the emotional toll of mass shootings is paying dividends in their quest to infringe upon the Second Amendment.

The latest affront against the right to bear arms come to us from Washington State where a wide-sweeping new gun ban is set to take effect soon.

The mood at the Washington State Capitol was jubilant Tuesday as Gov. Jay Inslee signed a trio of gun control bills, one of which immediately bans the manufacture, purchase or importation of so-called assault weapons.

“Party safely tonight,” the governor told supporters after signing the bills.

Inslee and Attorney General Bob Ferguson, both Democrats, pushed for the gun control package.

With the governor’s signature, Washington becomes the 10th state to adopt an “assault weapons” ban.

The wild and traumatic conjecture was in full-effect.

“No one needs an AR-15 to protect your family,” Inslee said while surrounded by family members of shooting victims. “You only need it to kill other families.”

Washington State lawmakers say they are prepared to defend the law in court, particularly pointing out their previous litigious successes against the NRA.

The law will take effect on January 1st, 2024.
