INSANE VIDEO: Massive Tanker Truck Explosion Rocks Connecticut Bridge

The Department of Transportation says that they are aware of the situation and that a thorough inspection of the bridge will take place as soon as the situation allows for it.

Americans have been witnessing a great deal of industrial transport gone wrong in recent months, with this week providing one of the most stunning examples yet.

It all started weeks ago in East Palestine, Ohio, where a train derailment has caused a number of mysterious illnesses and pet deaths.  Residents are suggesting that they haven’t been given the proper assistance to deal with whatever ill effects are coming their way, (now and in the future), and this has brought a great deal of heat to the Biden administration.

On Friday, a massive tanker truck explosion on a Connecticut bridge was captured on video, with it’s black plume of smoke reminding many of the ongoing tragedy in East Palestine.

A crash involving a fuel truck and a car sparked a fire on a major Connecticut highway bridge Friday, with flames spreading to buildings below and officials closing Interstate 95 in both directions during the blaze. Officials said the truck driver died and other people were injured.

The wreck happened shortly after 11 a.m. on the southbound side of the Gold Star Memorial Bridge carrying the highway over the Thames River between New London and Groton. The Gold Star actually comprises two bridges, one for southbound traffic and the other for northbound. The northbound side has since reopened.

Videos from the scene showed flames burning and smoke rising from a lengthy section of the bridge and spreading to a construction and marine company below on the Groton side.

Not everyone made it out of the incident with their lives, unfortunately.

New London’s mayor and fire chief told news outlets that the truck driver died in the crash and other people were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. The state Department of Transportation confirmed there was a fatality.

Video of the scene was harrowing, to say the least.

The Department of Transportation says that they are aware of the situation and that a thorough inspection of the bridge will take place as soon as the situation allows for it.
