Jeff Bezos’ D.C. Home Targeted by Protesters with Replica Guillotine

As Bezos nears trillionaire status, one can only imagine that the backlash against him will grow.

As American culture continues to evolve here in 2020, there are ever more factions of our society that are looking to have their voices heard.  Of course, Black Lives Matter has the spotlight at this moment, but in the cultural blossoming of the moment we are seeing other movements gain momentum as well.

This inward exploration of what America appears to be in the 21st century has inspired class-war activists as well, who this week made an incredibly bold statement regarding the wealth being amassed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

Fringe activists set up a guillotine in front of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’s home in Washington, D.C., on Sunday where they reportedly demanded that Amazon be abolished.

One of the demonstrators said on a bullhorn in front of Bezos’s home, “it is still exploitation and when they become threatened, and we have no voice, the knives come out.”

The guillotine that was set up in front of Bezos’s home had a sign in front of it that stated, “Support our poor communities not our wealthy men.”

The scene was striking.

The guillotine was a prop utilized by members of an organized march, whose flyers called Bezos out by name.

As Bezos nears trillionaire status, one can only imagine that the backlash against him will grow.
