Kathy Griffin Slams Trump After Revealing She’s Been Hospitalized with Virus Symptoms

Self-admitted “D-list” television actress Kathy Griffin’s career has been irrevocably intertwined with the political career of Donald J. Trump, for better or for worse, over the course of the last three years.

This is not a coincidence, of course, as Griffin chose to go after Trump hard and heavy as a way to keep what little attention she was getting in Hollywood from evaporating.  Her publicity campaign crescendoed in an unforgettable and grotesque display, with the aging television personality posing in a photoshoot realistically created to give the impression that she had just beheaded Trump, not unlike the propaganda photos coming out of organizations such as ISIS and Al Qaeda.

Now, as Griffin heads to the hospital to be evaluated for her coronavirus-like symptoms, she is using the opportunity to again insult the Trump administration.

After checking into a hospital with “unbearably painful” symptoms, comedian Kathy Griffin has spoken out against Donald Trump’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.

In a quote tweet replying to the president, Griffin accused Trump of lying about how many coronavirus tests the United States has performed amid the ongoing pandemic that has claimed thousands of lives as it continues to spread around the world.

“I was sent to the #COVID19 isolation ward room in a major hospital ER from a separate urgent care facility,” Griffin tweeted Wednesday, going on to criticize the vice president’s leadership of the White House Coronavirus Task Force. “The hospital couldn’t test me for #coronavirus because of CDC (Pence task force) restrictions. #TESTTESTTEST”

As of this writing, Griffin’s diagnosis has not been publicly revealed.
