Late Night Host says Trump appearing on program would be ‘safety issue’

And the Emmy Award for hyperbolic hysteria goes too…

Hyperbolic hysteria seems to be the horse that the liberal left will be riding into the 2020 election, as they continue to push wild conspiracy theories regarding the Commander in Chief.

The democrats are making all sorts of claims about President Trump as of late, including some scathing insinuations about this similarities to Adolph Hitler, his mental state, and whether or not he’ll even leave office when his time is up.  The point of all of this is to encourage their base to get out and vote in November of 2020, but they’ve failed to recognize that this tactic similarly revs the engines of republican voters.

Nevertheless, this tactic has been adopted all the way to the top of the liberal food chain, with late night television host and staunch Trump opponent Stephen Colbert even indulging these fantastical concepts.

CBS funnyman Stephen Colbert revealed to CNN anchor Anderson Cooper the array of reasons that President Donald Trump — who Colbert says is guilty of heresy, “the greatest sin” — isn’t welcome on his late-night show.

“The quick answer would be no,” Colbert replies when asked if the president would be invited back on his show. “It would be hard for me to be properly respectful of the office because I think that he is so disrespectful of the office. It’s very hard to perceive him as I want want to perceive a president. So I think just for safety sake, it wouldn’t be a good idea.”

Colbert would go on to allege that the President’s work is “heresy”, and that Donald Trump is acting as a proxy for the “devil” himself.
