Latest Virtual Joe Biden ‘Roundtable’ Brutally Mocked as Candidate Continues to Falter

It used to be funny…now it’s just kind of sad.

Joe Biden’s days as the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party may be numbered, and the former veep himself seems unable to right the ship.

Biden has long been known for his inability to stick to the script, with a number of his gaffes and temper tantrums contributing to the embarrassing headlines that he has endured over the course of the primary season.

Within just a few weeks, Biden called one town hall attendee both “fat” and “a damn liar”, another a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier”, and then insinuated that a Detroit factory worker was “full of s***”.

Then came the increasingly credibly allegations of sexual assault leveled against him by former staffer Tara Reade.

Now, to top it all off, yet another of Biden’s virtual campaign events has been panned as a disaster.

The roundtable featured Biden along with Michigan Gov. Whitmer, New Jersey Gov. Murphy, and Connecticut Gov. Lamont, discussing the coronavirus pandemic.

Like other recent Biden virtual events, Thursday’s was marked by technical hiccups like visual and audio glitches, along with the former vice president getting his tongue tied in knots:

Biden said at the beginning of the event:

“We’re … in the middle of a pandemic that has cost us more than 85,000 jobs as of today. Lives of millions of people. Millions of people. Millions of jobs. You know, and we’re in a position where, you know we just got new unemployment insurance, this morning, uh, numbers — 36.5 million claims since this crisis began.”
President Trump continues to poke at Biden over his gaffes and suggest that he is mentally unfit for office. On Thursday the president said, “Joe has absolutely no idea what’s happening,” and, “He doesn’t know he’s alive.”

With only six months left until the election arrives, the Democrats are running out of time to oust Biden.
