Legendary Hollywood Actress Blames 30,000 COVID Deaths on Donald Trump
You can’t buy class, folks.
It’s becoming ever clearer that the “resistance” against Donald Trump has no problem exploiting mass death and sorrow in order to land a couple of cheap shots at his expense. This has been unfortunately true during the global coronavirus pandemic, and it’s beginning to get a little bit ridiculous.
Not to mention that hijacking the deaths of 30,000+ Americans is just about as tasteless as it gets. Somebody ought to explain this to Bette Midler.
Actress and left-wing activist Bette Midler declared late Friday evening that President Donald Trump has “30,000 corpses” on his hands as a result of his response to the Chinese coronavirus.
“YOU SHOULD TALK, YOU RIDICULOUS, PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A PUBLIC OFFICIAL! YOU HAVE 30,000 CORPSES ON YOUR HANDS,” the Beaches star said in response to a Trump tweet critiquing the Obama administration’s handling of the “H1N1 Swine Flu.”
“Every single day you cause death, destruction, and untold suffering. Four more years of your incompetence and we won’t have a country left!” Bette Midler continued, adding the hashtags #TrumpOwnsEveryDeath and #Loser.”
Midler’s comments are just the latest in a long line of insults the Hollywood legend has hurled in the direction of Donald Trump, but it’s the first time that she has unceremoniously co-opted the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans.
