Liz Cheney Demands Immediate Publication of Impeachment Transcripts from Nancy Pelosi

We, as Americans, had better get used to the political nonsense that we are seeing today, as there is little chance of it crawling back into whatever dark corner of decorum it crawled out of anytime soon.

The left’s insistence on reversing the 2016 election through impeachment is the cat that’s been let out of the bag, and there is little chance that we’ll return the feline to its sack without having our blood drawn by fangs and claws.

We’re already seeing the dissent and dissonance in droves on Capitol Hill, where our elected officials are acting more like spoiled children than public servants.  The entire process has been described as a “sham”, a “hoax”, and a “witch hunt”, thanks to the secretive and clandestine nature of the Democrats’ work.

Now, after a “resolution” passed the House that would allow for public hearings in the process, one Congresswoman is demanding that the previous records be made public…right now.

Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., on Friday called on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to release the full transcripts of all depositions in the Trump impeachment inquiry, and demanded the end to what she called “selective leaking” of documents to the media.

“Despite the vote in the House on October 31, House Democrats continue to conduct the partisan effort to impeach the President in secret,” Cheney wrote in a letter to Pelosi.

“Your duty to the Constitution and the American people, as well as fundamental fairness, requires that you immediately release the full transcripts of all depositions taken since you pronounced the beginning of an impeachment inquiry on September 24, 2019,” the letter says.Cheney then goes to a common complaint from GOP lawmakers, that while the hearings are being held behind closed doors and in secret, details are subsequently leaked to the media — details that Republicans say are always the ones that hurt Trump the most.

“The selective leaking in which the House Intelligence Committee has been engaged must end immediately and the full and complete record must be provided for the American people to see,” she writes.

One of the major concerns of the Republican Party is the damage already done to the public psyche via the selective release of information so far.  Of course, being that the information made public has been conducive to the Democratic effort, there has been a concerted effort by the mainstream media to galvanize and disseminate the “facts” so far.
