Michael Cohen Suggests Trump will Abandon White House Before Inauguration

Cohen’s relationship with the truth is a fraught one, however.

It’s hard to tell just what to believe that comes out of Michael Cohen’s mouth, and this week was certainly no exception.

Cohen is a former member of President Donald Trump’s inner circle, and has frequently been characterized as a former “fixer” for the longtime NYC business mogul, which lends an air of shadiness to his already squirrelly demeanor.

And, to make matters worse, Cohen has been on a self-styled vindication tour, attempting to spill as much dirt on Donald Trump as possible over the last few months, after being convicted of lying to Congress on the President’s behalf – something that has tarnished his reputation among many.

Now, in yet another diss aimed at his former boss, Cohen believes that Trump will simply walk away from the White House so as not to be forced to attend the inauguration of Joe Biden.

“Everyone needs to take a chill pill,” Cohen warned. “Donald Trump talks a lot of nonsense. The Birtherism. ‘I have my investigators there in Hawaii. Look what we found out.’ It’s all a lie, 99.9% of everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie. He’s not going to stay in the White House past January 20th. They will remove him. He knows that.”

“After Christmas, he usually comes back January 5th, January 6th. He likes to go to Mar-A-Lago,” Cohen noted. “I suspect he doesn’t even come back to Washington. I don’t believe he’s going to go to the inauguration because he himself fundamentally cannot sit in a chair knowing that the cameras are on him and that the world is looking at him as a loser. He cannot do that.”

Cohen continued this thought, stating that Trump would continue to be a “menace” for some time to come, even after leaving the White House.
