Michael Moore pleads for prominent democratic diva to run in 2020

The liberal filmmaker has largely been quiet regarding the 2020 democrats…until now.

The democratic field for 2020 is a disaster.

No, I take that back.  Based on the sheer size of the race, it could be more aptly described as a cataclysm.

With over twenty left-leaning politicians vying for the nomination, the race has become a veritable civil war of progressive ideologies.  Those on the far left are cannibalizing one another while simultaneously lobbing jabs at the centrist front-runner, Joe Biden.  Those with any inkling of a right-handed lean are simply obscured by this spectacle, leaving only the radicals or a return to the old guard for the embattled party.

Provocative liberal filmmaker Michael Moore has recognized this problem, and is now suggesting that another bombshell candidate enter the race at this late stage.

Filmmaker Michael Moore said in a new interview that there is only one candidate up to the challenge to “crush” President Trump in 2020, “and her last name rhymes with Obama.”

“In fact, it is Obama — Michelle Obama,” Moore said on MSNBC. “Everybody watching this right now knows she is a beloved American and she would go in there and she would beat him.”

Moore said it is not enough to have a Democratic candidate who will defeat Trump, noting that his 2016 Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, won 3 million more votes nationwide.

“The only way to remove Trump is to crush Trump. And that’s the question that has to be asked, who can crush Trump? Who’s the street fighter?” Moore said.

And what about Obama’s reticence to enter the race so far?  Moore has a strange idea about that as well.

“Well, has anyone asked her?” Moore said. “If asked to serve, I believe she would serve.”

Moore’s insinuation comes weeks after a similar prediction was made by conservative personality Bill Mitchell, who himself was concerned that a Michelle Obama-led ticket could tip the scales in favor of the democrats come next November.
