Mitch McConnell brutally disses democratic stagnation on border security

He also characterized the ‘resistance’ about as succinctly as one can.

It has been plainly apparent that the democrats want nothing to do with a compromise regarding the border, and Mitch McConnell is sick and tired of hearing about it.

Instead of working together with the republicans, or reaching across the aisle, (or whatever sort of anecdote you’d like), the left has been solely focused on one thing and one thing alone:  Delegitimizing President Donald Trump in any way that they can.  They’ve called into question his fitness for office, they’ve called him a Kremlin asset, and they’ve even attempted to insinuate that he won the 2016 election only due to Russian interference.

This means that, as our Customs and Border Patrol officers plead with Washington DC for help at the southern border, the democrats are spending their days appearing on CNN in order to drum up support for the impeachment of the President, and thoroughly stonewalling any attempt by Trump to solve the immigration issue.

Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell is no longer amused.

Speaking on Fox Friends, the longtime republican laid down a major diss aimed at the democrats.

“[I]t’s safe to say the president is getting more cooperation out of Mexico than congressional Democrats,” he said.

McConnell added the reasoning behind the lack of cooperation from the Democrats is because they are “suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome” and they do not want to see him win on any issues.

Then, succinctly summarizing the “resistance” rhetoric…

He explained, “Whatever he’s for, they are reflexively against.”

McConnel’s venomous vitriol comes as the democrats struggle internally over the subject of impeachment, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi standing as the lone prominent progressive to oppose such a move ahead of the 2020 election.
