Mitch Reassures Republicans, Says It’s ‘Inconceivable’ Senate Would Vote to Remove Trump
The jig is up, and McConnell just let the world know.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell just reiterated what many in the alternative media already understood: That this impeachment “inquiry” is little more than a taxpayer-funded anti-Trump campaign ad meant to be perpetuated and extrapolated by the mainstream media for as long as it can last.
Sure, it looks like the Democrats are gaining ground in their impeachment fiasco, but much of that is due to the mainstream mutations of the naive narrative. The big point here is the the Senate will not be voting to continue with this process. Period. Full Stop.
It’s “inconceivable”, even…according to the aforementioned Mitch.
From his Tuesday press conference:
“I will repeat what I’ve said in the past, it’s inconceivable to me that there would be 67 votes to remove the president from office. A number of Democratic senators are running for president. I’m sure they’re going to be excited to be here in their chairs, not being able to say anything during the pendency of this trial. So, hopefully, we’ll work our way through it and finish it in not too lengthy a process.”
Yet still, the Democrats will press on.
This is, after all, free anti-Trump advertising for the 2020 election, and perhaps their only shot at defeating the ever-popular incumbent Republican.
