MSNBC Host Lambasts Jim Jordan for Showing Footage of Riots in Portland

Pot, meet kettle.

Sometimes the truth is just that – the truth.  Unfortunately, this isn’t the sort of explanation that the spinsters in the mainstream media like to abide by.

In fact, the infotainment industry has made a habit of completely ignoring the ostensible reality in front of their very eyes in favor of something that sells more commercial airspace.

This all makes for a rather funny bit of projection here, as MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell laments the way in which Jim Jordan presented information in front of Congress today.

Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” during a break from Attorney General William Barr’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, host Andrea Mitchell commented on ranking GOP member Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) presentation of a video of rioting in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

Mitchell said, “You have been watching a contentious hearing. Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee trying to grill Attorney General Bill Barr after more than a year of his refusing to appear before them on big issues like his characterization, they say inaccurate, of the Russia probe, the Mueller probe, his order of federal agents into Portland and Lafayette Square and whether he’s independent of political influence from President Trump.”

And that wasn’t all.

She continued, “Ranking Republican Jim Jordan showed a graphic, selectively edited nearly eight-minute montage of protests around the country which he claimed were anything but peaceful including sound bites from Democrats Biden and Obama, clearly very political and highly edited.”

Those tuning in to MSNBC this week should be warned:  They know a thing or two about deceptively edited content.
