Mueller report to be read in 11 hour marathon at a DC theater

The democrats say that they want to pass an infrastructure bill, but maybe they should try building a bridge to get over the Mueller report first.

As the rest of the nation begins to tackle the 2020 election and the rising threat that Iran poses, the “resistance” is still hellbent on trudging through the Mueller report.

After 22 months of investigation, and at a price tag of at least $25 million, Robert Mueller’s report into the alleged connection between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Russian government ended with no charges being leveled at Donald Trump or anyone in his current administration.  This was seen as a “win” for Team Trump, with the President himself refusing to allow Congress a “do-over” of the investigation.

Still, the left obsesses over the report, believing that Robert Mueller was goading Congress into impeachment.

In an effort to keep this narrative alive, a group of “resistance”-minded individuals will be reading the report, in its 440+ page entirety, to audiences in the nation’s capital.

The Arena Stage theatre in Washington, D.C., is set to host an 11-hour reading of the Mueller report to an audience of lawmakers and activists.

Up to 200 guests, including District Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton and former Virginia Rep. Jim Moran, will attend what is described as a “nonpartisan 11-hour marathon reading of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Report.” The reading solely covers volume two of the Mueller report, which looks into whether President Donald Trump had obstructed justice.

A press release regarding the event played coy with the purpose of the report’s rehashing.

“Why read the Mueller Report at Arena Stage? As a theater focused on American plays and American stories, the Mueller Report is a far-reaching and intricate American story about D.C. and the people in it,” said artistic director Molly Smith in a press release.

The event comes as Congressional democratic leaders such as Nancy Pelosi are being badgered incessantly by their flock to begin impeachment proceedings against President Trump.
